Friday Fun Sew for Charity

Join us at The Quilt Basket on Fridays to make pillowcases for American Patchwork & Quilting’s One Million Pillowcases Challenge! We will have pillowcase kits available to purchase (10% off) or bring your own. For every pillowcase made you will receive a coupon good on a future visit to The Quilt Basket. This is a year-long project and it is our goal to help American Patchwork & Quilting reach the “1 Million” mark!

Every pillowcase made can make a difference in our communities. A pillowcase can provide comfort to a cancer  patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for battered women or bring beauty to a nursing home resident. Pillowcases will be donated to charities of our choice in our communities. If you have any suggestions, please contact us!

After making a few pillowcases, stay and sew for FUN! We  always try to have refreshments or bring some to share!
